The Zambezi Region is a narrow strip of land extending roughly 450 km eastward, wedged between Angola, Zambia, and Botswana. This unique geography makes it the only place in Namibia where you will find significant perennial rivers—the Zambezi, Kwando, Chobe, and Linyanti. This abundance of water creates a "wetland paradise" that serves as a vital migratory corridor for massive herds of elephants moving between neighboring countries. The region is home to several national parks, including Bwabwata, Mudumu, and Nkasa Rupara, offering a safari experience more akin to the Okavango Delta than the dry plains of Etosha.
